VIDEO: The Astonishing Cats & Rats Studies (2017)

This is the tale of two incredible studies that show exactly what happens to a species when you feed them what we are currently eating. They get sick young, they die young, they suffer and their offspring lose the ability to reproduce. Sound familiar…? The Famous Rat Study (from Goldot by Lewis E. Cook, Jr. and Junko Yasui). Group 1 rats were fed raw vegetables, fruits, nuts and wholegrains. They grew healthy, strong never got sick or fat, had healthy offspring and were socially affectionate. At the equivalent of 80 human years, autopsies showed their organs and tissues were in perfect condition, without signs of aging or deterioration. Group 2 rats were fed the typical modern diet; cooked foods, white bread, cakes, lollies, meat, milk, soft drinks & pills. For most of their life they were “vicious, snarling beasts” fighting, stealing food, killing each other. They grew sick and fat, caught colds & pneumonia, and ended up with heart disease, cancers, arthritis and as total physical and nervous wrecks. They died young with terrible “modern” illness. A random selection was removed half way through the study and given strict water fasting followed by the healthy plant diet. Within 30 days they became playful, affectionate, suffered no more illness or disease and full health returned. The Famous Cat Study (Dr. Francis Pottenger’s 1930s cat research). From 1932-1942, Dr. Francis Pottenger did 10 years of clinical nutritional studies, on 900 cats. He split them randomly into two groups. He fed one group the typical modern diet and the other group what cats would only eat in the wild. What happened? The first generation fed the modern diet ended up with degenerative diseases. The second generation had the same but the diseases hit at younger ages. The third generation were sterile. By the fourth generation, the cats were all infertile. The cats eating their natural wild diets all survived without one recorded case of illness.
