Diabetes cured through a plant-based wholefood diet

The 'anti-diabetes' diet was developed by researchers at the University of Newcastle to tackle type 2 diabetes — with impressive results. In the eight-week study involving 11 patients; all reversed their type 2 diabetes and 3 months later, 7 patients were diabetes-free.

Chicken, saturated fat and breast cancer

Those eating the highest amount of chicken had a 155% increased risk of estrogen receptor negative breast cancer. Chicken intake is NOT associated with a lower risk of breast cancer. Saturated fat - rich in chicken flesh - is directly linked to breast cancer risk.
