More international cardiologists warning against alcohol and meat for the heart

Interventional Cardiologist, Dr Nasiruddin Jamal, Director of Cardiology Programme at the Aga Khan Hospital in Dar es Salaam, is the latest to talk diet and the prevention of heart disease.

“There are various factors behind high blood pressure, including exposure to polluted environment and genetically related factors, but the kind of food ingested has a significant bearing in individual’s health status”
