Cancer is overtaking heart disease in many countries across the globe

In Belgium, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, San Marino and Israel, cancer has now overtaken heart disease as the leading cause of death in men.

Interestingly Singapore, whose health is declining due to western food habits and lifestyles (though still highly vegetarian influenced), has the lowest overall death rate among the developed countries, being ranked 217th out of 225. 

Germany, on the sausage diet, is ranked 31st worst…
