Hilarious bogus 'experts' claim processed meat is good for you (they work for The American Meat Institute...)

I could not help laughing as I read this article. people claiming to be experts and 'independent' and offering health advice about meat, when they work for a PR company (with an impressive 'scientific' sounding name) designed to promote meat.

The article says "A new menu model analysis developed by a team of nutrition experts [ahem, cough, cough] shows that processed meat can fit into a healthy balanced diet, according to comments submitted by the American Meat Institute (AMI)..."
