What has this medical research confirmed about extra-virgin olive oil?

  1. Extra-virgin olive oil is associated with a reduced risk of suffering from cardiovascular disease, stroke, myocardial infarction and cardiovascular death
  1. For every extra tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil intake, there was a 10% reduction in the risk of cardiovascular disease and 7% reduction in the risk of cardiovascular death
