Alcohol kills another musician through liver cirrhosis

Sadly here is another famous death from a preventable lifestyle disease, this time alcohol and its deadly damage to the liver.

Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman died in a Los Angeles hospital on 2nd of May aged just 49.

This is four years older than I am right now.

His official cause of death was confirmed yesterday as alcohol-related cirrhosis, or an irreversible scarring of the liver.
