Australia continues its climb up the charts to become the most overweight nation on earth (New Zealand is still ahead mind you…).

The Wellness Index, by Roy Morgan Research has surveyed 50,000 Australians annually since 2007 and released their latest findings on Tuesday April 16, 2013.  The data is from 4,000 people monthly, on 98 indicators across seven groups — exercise, psychological well-being, nutritional health, alcohol, smoking, medical and height and weight.  Ranking is according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, 2013.  As reported on April 17, 2013 by Japan Times.
