Alcohol rises to 4% of all global deaths - and rising
According to the World Health Organization, alcohol is responsible for nearly 4% of all deaths worldwide.
For example, in America alone…
- 68 people die every day as a result of alcohol (25,000 per year)
- This is EXCLUDING accidents
- This is EXCLUDING homicides
- In 2010, 31% of all traffic-related deaths in the U.S. were the result of alcohol, taking 10,228 lives
