Always remember, what happens in the US is always followed here by the NZ and Australian food industries. We are just repeating what the Americans have done for years and we now have the same health problems they do.
Do we need change? You bet we do. Our obesogenic (fat-promoting) environment is killing our people young.
What is the biggest industry in the world now? The Food Industry. Do they want to grow? You bet. How do they do that? By having us all eat more of the wrong kinds of foods that are cheap to make (better profit for them) and highly addictive (gluten, salt, sugar and fat).
Our diet, lifestyle and environment need to change if we are to reclaim our health.
